Sheffield United v Hull preview
Monday 13 August 2018 19:37, UK
Sheffield United could hand a debut to new signing Oliver Norwood in their Carabao Cup clash with Hull.
Norwood arrived on an initial loan on Monday with a view to a permanent deal in January and is eligible to play. The Blades are expected to be without David McGoldrick after the summer signing was forced out of Saturday's win at QPR with a dead leg having come on as a substitute.
Boss Chris Wilder is expected to make changes and on-loan Liverpool teenager Ben Woodburn is hoping to make his first start for the club.
Hull manager Nigel Adkins is likely to utilise his squad and make several changes for his return to Bramall Lane, where he spent one season in charge. Goalkeeper George Long is hoping to make his first start for the Tigers against his former club and several other players are in contention.
Jackson Irvine, Angus MacDonald, Jon Toral, Kevin Stewart and Will Keane are among those hoping to start. Kamil Grosicki is still not ready for match action, while James Weir and Ondrej Mazuch (both knee) remain sidelined.
