Southend v Millwall preview
Monday 7 December 2015 23:43, UK
Southend winger David Worrall will return to contention for his side's home Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Millwall.
Worrall missed the goalless draw against Wigan last time out after taking a blow to the head in the recent win at Oldham, but could return to the starting line-up.
The Southern Area semi-final will come too soon for Noel Hunt, sidelined for three months with an ankle injury, but the striker hopes to return to action at Bradford on Saturday.
Michael Timlin is hoping to return to contention following a foot injury, but remains 50/50, while fellow midfielders Gary Deegan (ankle) and Stephen McLaughlin (toe) are still out.
Millwall defender Mark Beevers plus on-loan pair George Saville and Shane Ferguson will all return to Neil Harris' squad.
Centre-half Beevers sat out Saturday's FA Cup defeat to Wycombe due to a one-game ban while on-loan Wolves midfielder Saville and the left-sided Ferguson were both ineligible.
Midfielder Fred Onyedinma was forced out of the action with a knock on Saturday after stepping off the bench, but is expected to be fit.
Defender Tony Craig (knee) and Jimmy Abdou (collarbone) remain sidelined, but the latter stepped up his recovery with a run out for the development squad on Monday.
