Sky Sports viewers were treated to a masterclass in finishing on Sunday afternoon as Exeter and Stevenage played out an enthralling six-goal thriller at St James' Park.

Exeter raced into an early lead as David Wheeler and Clinton Morrison's acrobatic maiden strike for the club put the hosts in the driving seat.

But Stevenage staged an incredible comeback before the break as Ben Kennedy added to Dean Parrett's sumptuous free-kick to level proceedings.

Wheeler's volley then restored Exeter's lead but the best strike of all was saved until stoppage time where Chris Whelpdale's exquisite volley earned the visitors a share of the spoils.
