Burton have signed Derby's teenage forward Mason Bennett on a youth loan until the end of the season.

Bennett, 19, links back up with former Derby boss Nigel Clough, who made him the Rams' youngest-ever first-team player when handing him debut at the age of 15 in October 2011.

"It's a great opportunity for me to be here," Bennett told Burton's official website. "The team are at the top of the league and hopefully we can keep pushing forward.

"I know the staff well here. They gave me my debut at 15 so hopefully I'll have more success here with them.

"It must have been difficult for them to chuck a 15-year-old in from the start so I'm grateful for another opportunity at this club."

Bennett is also Derby's youngest goal scorer following his effort against Tranmere in the FA Cup in January 2013 at the age of 16 years and 174 days. He has made 28 first-team appearances for the Rams.
