Pele
The legendary striker appeared at four separate World Cup finals. He played in 14 matches, managing an outstanding return of 12 goals. Pele lifted the World Cup trophy on three occasions and is regarded as one of the greatest players to have ever graced the game.
Vava
Vava played at two World Cup finals, scoring nine goals during his 10 appearances. In the 1958 final, he scored a brace against Sweden to help fire his nation to glory before four years later he scored in another successful showpiece, this time against Czechoslovakia.
Tostao
Tostao was a prolific striker not only renowned for his goalscoring ability but also for his team-play, as he assisted many of his compatriots. He fired in three World Cup goals, two of those coming in Brazil's successful 1970 campaign.
Leonidas da Silva
The forward was a marvellous player, and at the 1938 World Cup he landed the Golden Boot with seven goals to his name. Indeed, he netted a hat-trick in the thrilling 6-5 win over Poland. Leonidas is also said to have been the player that invented the bicycle kick.
Ronaldo
Ronaldo is Brazil's all-time leading World Cup goalscorer having bagged 15 strikes in 19 appearances, with his World Cup career spanning over three tournaments. In fact, he is the competition's all-time leading goalscorer. He has twice lifted the World Cup trophy, in 1994 and 2002.
Romario
Clinical striker Romario is an undoubted footballing legend who helped his nation land the 1994 World Cup. In said tournament the attacker, who played just 65 minutes at the 1990 competition, landed the Golden Ball after scoring five times in seven games.
Ademir
Ademir is Brazil's third highest World Cup goalscorer following a brilliant return of nine goals from six appearances at the 1950 tournament. Although the powerful striker landed the Golden Boot at said competition, he and his team did fail to land glory as they lost to Uruguay in the final.
Bebeto
Bebeto lifted the World Cup trophy at the 1994 tournament. He was considered one of the star performers at the competition after scoring three times in the USA while he also unveiled his famous celebration of rocking an imaginary baby. Bebeto also netted another three goals four years later, but his team lost in the final against hosts France.
