Jamie Redknapp criticises Mike Dean for showing no compassion towards Raheem Sterling

Jamie Redknapp thinks Mike Dean was wrong to send off Raheem Sterling after his last-minute winner for Manchester City.
The goal meant City recorded a dramatic victory over Bournemouth after a pulsating final few minutes.
Five minutes of added time had all-but elapsed when, after Josh King had been denied at the other end, Sterling collected the ball inside a packed Bournemouth box and saw his effort hit Andrew Surman and nestle in the corner of Asmir Begovic's goal.
Sterling was shown a second yellow card after celebrating in among the jubilant away fans as Bournemouth were left with nothing to show for a strong showing after Gabriel Jesus had initially equalised after a stunning Charlie Daniels strike.
The England winger will now serve a one-game suspension, meaning he'll miss their next fixture against Liverpool, which left City manager Pep Guardiola frustrated at the full-time whistle.
Redknapp sympathised with the City boss and criticised Dean for not showing enough understanding of the passionate situation.
"If you haven't scored a goal in the game, you don't know what it's like," Redknapp said.
"It's the most incredible rush of your life. When you score at that point in the game you feel like you can fight the world.
"For a referee to send him off for that? Come on man! Show a bit of compassion.
"It's very hard to restrain yourself - if the referee doesn't book him, do you think anyone will have a problem? The referee can turn a blind eye."
Sky Sports analyst Alan Pardew was in agreement with Redknapp.
"You are full of pumped adrenaline and you've run to the crowd - unfortunately, the crowd's reaction has probably got him sent off," he said.
"The emotions of the last few minutes were incredible. Harry Arter getting scythed down, Josh King nearly winning it before Sterling eventually does."
It's understood that Aguero has not been spoken to by police at this point and City are confident their player will be cleared of any wrongdoing.
