Former South Africa FA official Lindile Kika banned for six years

FIFA has suspended a South African soccer official for six years as part of an investigation involving friendly games ahead of the 2010 World Cup.
Lindile Kika, who was the South African Football Association's head of national teams at the time, has been banned from all soccer-related activities.
The adjudicatory chamber of FIFA's Ethics Committee, chaired by Hans-Joachim Eckert, found Kika guilty of breaching five sections of the governing body's ethics code.
No precise details of the case were provided, with FIFA only saying that proceedings "were opened in November 2014 in relation to several international friendly matches played in South Africa in 2010."
The suspension is effective immediately.
