Former Doncaster boss primed for return to management

Sky Sports understands former Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll is in line to become the new manager of Crawley Town. O'Driscoll spent five years in charge of Doncaster before leaving the club last September and he had previously enjoyed six years at the helm of Bournemouth. He is now poised for a return to management at Crawley, who will be playing in League One next season after securing back-to-back promotions. Steve Evans left Crawley for Rotherham United in April and caretaker boss Craig Brewster was able to see the Red Devils over the line after a last-day win at Accrington Stanley. Crawley also brought in former England international Steve Coppell as a director of football following Evans' departure a few weeks ago. However, the club now have a permanent replacement for Evans lined up, with O'Driscoll expected to be handed the position.
