Sky Bet Championship: Sami Hyypia hopes to revive Brighton

Brighton boss Sami Hyypia spoke of his desire to revive the Seagulls' fortunes after Middlesbrough stretched Albion's winless league run to eight games by beating them 2-1 at the Amex Stadium.
Goals in each half from Lee Tomlin and Albert Adomah extended Boro's unbeaten league streak to seven matches and took them up to third in the Championship table.
Skipper Gordon Greer pulled a late goal back but it was not enough as the Seagulls now sit 20th and only one point above the drop zone.
Asked whether he was the man to turn things round, former Liverpool defender Hyypia said: ``It's not up to me. I'm ambitious and want to be successful.
"I'm willing and I'm not a quitter, I'm a fighter and I hope our team is full of fighters."
Hyypia was disappointed that his men did not show sufficient urgency when trailing 2-0 although he considered it to be an "even game".
The Finn added: "I thought it was quite an even game. Middlesbrough showed their quality and when they had a chance, they scored.
"Our performance wasn't close to the best performance. We had chances before both the goals and it's difficult to say why we're not scoring from our chances; I don't know if it's a question of frustration.
"It went back a step today and we need to analyse why. Middlesbrough scored and then sat back, it's not easy to break.
"I would like to have the mentality of not giving up, we didn't have the urgency. From the side it's easy to see, sometimes it's difficult to effect it on the field."
Boro boss Aitor Karanka admitted his side was "gelling well as a unit" but shrugged off talk of promotion form.
Karanka's men now boast five wins and two draws from their last seven games but the Spaniard did not want to look further ahead than Tuesday's clash at Wolves.
He said: "We're in October now so we can forget about the last game, our focus is on Tuesday.
"It's very pleasing to get three points from this tough game. It's difficult to win games in this league and more difficult to win them away from home.
"Brighton are a very good team with a very good stadium and they are in a false position. I'm sure they will be climbing the table in the future."
Karanka was delighted with the way his team began both halves and felt they got better as the match wore on.
He added: "In this league you have to work 100 per cent and today was a good example.
"The team is gelling well as a unit and we kept good organisation. I was pleased with the way we started and the way we went into the second half."
Tomlin was forced off with a leg injury at half time but Karanka described it as "nothing serious" and the striker should be fit for the trip to Wolves.
