DUO TAKE CITY TRIAL
NORWICH CITY manager Bruce Rioch has given trials to Manchester City striker Craig Russell and Sheffield United midfielder Jonathan Hunt.
Russell, 26 on Friday, has made no appearances for promotion chasing City this season and has spent much of the last two seasons on loan, having spells at Tranmere, Port Vale and Darlington.
Hunt (pictured), meanwhile, has not played for the Blades since their FA Cup defeat to Newcastle at the start of January and will look to kick-start his career at Carrow Road should the opportunity arise.
The 28-year-old has also played for Southend, Birmingham, Derby County and Ipswich since starting his career at Barnet as a junior.
