KANCHELSKIS IN FINAL FINALE
Kanchelskis had been unhappy earlier in the season but since the turn of the New Year, has been in scintillating form for the run-away Scottish champions.
The 31-year old winger was on the verge of being axed during the Christmas holiday period, but is now happy again and looking forward to this weekend’s final against Aberdeen.
"I am happy and all my concentration at this minute is on the Cup Final and my work here at Ibrox – but I have to wait and see," said Kanchelskis.
"I do not know whether Rangers will tell me that they want me to stay, I have not spoken to the chairman or the manager, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens."
The Russian star has been strongly linked with a move to newly promoted Premiership side Manchester City after enjoying his time working under Joe Royle when they were both at Goodison.
"When I worked with Joe at Everton after Manchester United, it was a very good time for me," said Kanchelskis.
"I am very pleased to see City back in the Premiership and also that Joe Royle has taken them there, however we haven’t spoken about a move."
Kanchelskis enjoyed a great deal of success during his time in England winning two Premiership titles between 1993-1995 as well as the FA Cup for Manchester United, before moving to Everton and then Fiorentina.
