NIGERIAN OJIGWE SIGNS WITH LEVERKUSEN
PASCAL OJIGWE has signed on with Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen for £1 million after the Nigerian international was in a tug-of-war for his services with his main club, Kaiserslautern.
The 23-year-old midfielder played last season on loan with FC Cologne and was a key factor in gaining the club promotion out of Bundesliga Two.
Ojigwe refused to return to Kaiserslautern, even though manager Otto Rehhagel made guarantees that the Nigerian would be given a firm place in the squad.
The Nigerian has signed a four-year contract that will earn him £1 million annually.
