ADAMS VOTED MOST INSPIRATIONAL CAPTAIN
The Gunners skipper lead the poll with 36% of 3812 votes made by you over the last week, proving his leadership qualities on and off the pitch to voters.
In second place behind the England stopper was Manchester United's Irish captain Roy Keane with 32 per-cent. Keane has proved to have lead by example in his role at Old Trafford over the last couple of seasons.
Both Adams and Keane commanded 68 per-cent of votes, which clearly showed the confidence of voters the duo's commanding skills.
The other listed captains in our poll only received single percentages - Leeds United South African skipper Lucas Radebe got 7%, while West Ham's Paulo Di Canio and Chelsea's Dennis Wise each got 6%.
Newcastle United and former England captain Alan Shearer and Ipswich Town's Matt Holland both got 5% of votes, with Leicester City's Matt Elliott gaining only 3%.
