VIALLI MAY BEGIN THE ROTATION

CHELSEA manager Gianluca Vialli has given the strongest indication yet that he will continue with the squad rotation system that he used last season, a decision that is sure to anger new striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who declared that he does not agree with the policy.

Chelsea were humbled 2-0 by Bradford City on Tuesday, with the Dutch hot-shot being hauled off at half-time - much to his annoyance.

Vialli claimed that the former Atletico Madrid forward was removed due to injury, saying: "Jimmy did not want to come off but one of his hamstrings got quite tight and we were worried about him getting seriously injured."

Whatever the reason, Hasselbaink stated when he joined the Stamford Bridge outfit that he would not accept being "rotated."

However, he may not have a choice in the matter, with an unhappy Vialli stating: "I've learned that probably some of the players can't handle a couple of matches in a short space of time.

"I've also got players more suitable for home games and some who can give me more when we play away."
