DYCHE SET FOR MILLWALL RETURN

SECOND DIVISION Millwall hope to have defender Sean Dyche back in action soon, after the player missed virtually the whole of last season through a back injury.

Dyche played only one game for the New Den outfit last season, against Luton Town, a club that he previously played for on loan. Now Millwall joint manager Alan McLeary is hoping that Dyche can finally put his injury nightmare behind him.

"He's had two weeks' training under his belt and has had no reaction," said McLeary. "Hopefully he can now get a few more games and will then be up and running.

"I think we'll probably look at getting a full game for him. He'll need another two or three of those after that and hopefully then he can come back into the first team."

McLeary will be hoping that Dyche can now start to repay some of the £150,000 that the club spent on him in 1999, as they look to build on their solid start to the season, registering two wins in their first three games.
