LINCOLN have terminated the contract of defender Scott Eustace, following his nine-month suspended sentence for an altercation in the city centre.
The 25-year-old former Leicester man, who joined The Red Imps from Cambridge in July, was given a final warning regarding his future conduct after he was convicted of drink driving in September.
Eustace was found guilty of using threatening behaviour outside a local takeaway establishment, but it was his previous conduct that prompted the club`s Board of Directors to terminate his contract, although the player has a right to appeal within seven days.
Eustace had been dogged by a knee injury since his move from Cambridge, only making fleeting appearances for the first-team, and it now appears that he will have to resurrect his career away from Sincil Bank.
