BAGGIES AGREE FEE FOR NASH

WEST BROM seem set to complete the signing of Carlo Nash after agreeing an undisclosed fee with Stockport County.

Baggies boss Gary Megson confirmed on Monday morning that the clubs have come to an agreement over a fee to take him to The Hawthorns - thought to be close to the £100,000 bid they had rejected last week.

"Stockport have accepted our bid," Megson said. "Carlo Nash is coming down today to discuss personal terms and it will go through or not on the basis of that."

Megson has been looking to bring in a keeper to compete with Brian Jensen for the goalkeeper's jersey at the Black Country club and hopes the man he brought to County from Selhurst Park on a Bosman two years ago will fill this void.
