WILTORD MYSTIFIED BY WENGER DECISIONS

SYLVAIN WILTORD has criticised Arsene Wenger for leaving him on the Arsenal bench, after his goalscoring heroics in the FA Cup tie against Chelsea, but stated his happiness at being a Gunner.

Wiltord came off of the bench in the 3-1 victory over The Blues and bagged a brace of goals that proved crucial in the London derby.

The Frenchman, who arrived in the summer from Bordeaux for around £13 million after helping France to victory in Euro 2000, has not been a regular starter, and has admitted he does not know why.

"I didn't start the match and I do not understand why." Wiltord told his official website. "This is the logic of Arsene Wenger.

"I do not regret becoming an Arsenal player, and I am happy to belong to this club even though I do not understand all of Arsene Wenger's choices.

"I will say once more that I think Arsenal have a fantastic team," added the striker.
