ABEL XAVIER BACK IN PORTUGAL SQUAD
PORTUGAL coach Antonio Oliveira has recalled Abel Xavier to the national squad for the World Cup qualifier with Andorra on Wednesday.
The Everton defender has been included for the first time since he was banned by Uefa for his part in the ugly scenes that marred Portugal`s Euro 2000 semi-final exit at the hands of France.
Sporting Lisbon`s Paulo Bento and Nuno Gomes of Fiorentina have also been included after serving their suspensions.
