BORO COMPLETE NEMETH SIGNING

The 23-year-old Slovakian international has agreed a deal with Boro and will join up with his new employers on July 1.

The news that Boro were set to sign the highly rated hitman first emanated from Slovakia earlier on Monday.

"Having signed a contract with Middlesbrough, I've settled the question of my football future," Nemeth said.

"I am happy that it is all over. This is perhaps an unexpected change after the previous talks, but that's life in football.

"I am looking forward to joining my new club and English football."

Nemeth, who was previously in talks with Middlesbrough's North East rivals and Monday opponents Sunderland, has scored 16 goals this season helping Inter to the domestic title.

The transfer will cost Boro a fee, although the player is out of contract, as he plays in a country outside of the EU and this will be decided by a tribunal.
