TOLDO & CONCEICAO TO INTER, FREY TO PARMA

INTERNAZIONALE have announced the imminent signing of Francesco Toldo from Fiorentina, and have also confirmed that Sebastien Frey will be moving to Parma with Sergio Conceicao joining the Nerazzuri in part exchange.

Toldo's move - which is expected to be worth around £16.5 million - looks set to be announced on Thursday, but the Inter official website has already confirmed that the transfer of Frey to Parma will go ahead.

In exchange for Frey, Inter will receive around £3 million and Conceicao (pictured), who has never really settled at Parma since being part of the swap deal that took Hernan Crespo to the Ennio Tardini.

Inter's new coach Hector Cuper will have a hugely different looking squad when the season starts, and the arrival of Toldo will be a major boost to the Giuseppe Meazza faithful.

"Inter will receive the documentation for Conceicao on Thursday as part of the deal that will see Frey move to Parma and £3 million paid to us," said the statement on the website.

Conceicao was delighted with the news that he was moving to Inter, and insisted that Christian Vieri would stay at the club so that they could resume a fruitful past partnership from their days at Lazio.

"I have chosen to accept the offer of the president Moratti because I believe that this club can do excellent things next season," said the Portuguese winger.

"I am very pleased to have arrived in Milan to play for Inter. I have great motivations for the move, above all in the light of indications of the club that they will not sell Vieri.

"When we were at Lazio together, Christian and I had excellent results and I can guarantee that I will do everything to replicate that this season."
