CRAGNOTTI RESIGNATION REJECTED
A meeting was held in order to discuss the situation, and the board unanimously rejected Cragnotti's resignation.
"Cragnotti has delayed his departure after the board threatened to resign en masse," said Cirio spokesman Guido Paglia.
Cirio own 51 percent of Lazio, and the Cragnotti family own 80 percent of the food company.
However, the supremo still looks to be on his way out of the club, despite receiving messages of support from England boss Sven Goran Eriksson, the former Lazio coach.

There is also speculation linking the club with a surprise move for Arsenal striker Sylvain Wiltord.

The former Bordeaux forward may find his place at Arsenal under further threat by the recent arrival of Francis Jeffers and he may be persuaded to leave to get regular first team football so as to boost his chances of playing for France in next year's World Cup finals.
