RANGERS COMPLETE ARVELADZE DEAL
RANGERS have confirmed the signing of Georgian international Shota Arveladze from Ajax, after he was granted a work permit.
The 28-year-old has sealed his £2 million move and is now in line to make his debut in Saturday's SPL game against Hearts.
The Scottish giants' website confirmed the deal, saying: "Rangers received the necessary documentation for Arveladze today [Thursday]."
The Georgia ace picked up a slight knock in their international against Hungary last week, which forced him out of Wednesday's game against Lithuania.
However, he is now expected in Glasgow and if he arrives in time for training on Friday, he could very well be in contention for the game with Hearts.
