KANCHESKIS IN COME-AND-GET-ME PLEA

ANDREI KANCHELSKIS has voiced his disenchantment with life at Rangers and revealed that he will quit Ibrox if he continues to be a bit part player under coach Dick Advocaat.

The Russian winger has grown accustomed to the Ibrox substitutes' bench in spite of the team falling behind neighbours Celtic in the SPL.

"It's disappointing but I am getting the feeling I'm not going to be involved so I will have to think about my situation," Kanchelskis told Rangers news.

"I want to play and I am ready to do so but I can't get in the team. Russell Latapy does not normally operate wide right but he played there for a couple of games ahead of me.

"At my age I need to be playing so if things have not changed in the next couple of months I will talk with my agent and try to find something else.

"I would like to stay in Britain because my family is settled here. My seven-year-old son Andrei speaks English with a Scottish accent and my daughter Eva is also happy here so I would like to find another club in this country.

"I can play for three more years at the top level."

The former Manchester United ace had a loan spell at Manchester City last season but failed to convince and returned to the Glasgow wilderness.

No clubs have yet to show a firm interest in the speedy wideman and his high wages could put off potential suitors.
