GRABBI REJECTS EXIT RUMOURS
The Italian striker, who joined Rovers in the summer from Ternana in a £6.75 million deal, had claimed in an interview in an Italian newspaper that he was not settled in England and that he yearned for a move back home with Juventus possibly interested in signing him.
The 26-year-old ace, who has scored one goal so far this season, is also reported to have complained about the training methods of Rovers boss Graeme Souness and the bad weather in England.
Grabbi, who is expected to return from injury to lead the attack against Leicester City on Monday night, has rejected the suggestion that he is looking to leave and claimed he will prove his worth to the side.
"I am playing in a new country and it will take time to settle," said Grabbi. "But I owe Blackburn everything and I am going nowhere."
Souness also admitted that the player had apologised for the story and that the reporter had misconstrued his comments.
"Corrado has apologised for the story but the only thing the reporter got right about his comments is the bit about the weather!," said Souness.
