SUMMERBEE JOINS FOREST
NICKY SUMMERBEE has completed a switch to Nottingham Forest on a non-contract basis.
The 30-year-old winger did enough to persuade Forest boss Paul Hart that he was worth a pay-as-you-play deal during a trial spell with the club.
Summerbee took his position on the Forest bench for Sunday's defeat at the hands of Walsall, although he was denied the opportunity to make his debut.
He is desperate to get his career back on the rails after finding himself in the football wilderness with Bolton Wanderers.
The former England Under-21 international was released by The Wanderers at the end of last season after having begun his career with Swindon Town before going on to have high-profile spells with Manchester City and Sunderland.
