BAYERN TO TURN UP HEAT ON KEHL

More from Football

THE Sebastian Kehl saga has taken another twist with the news that Bayern Munich are considering legal action against the German international.

Uli Hoeness, general manager for the Bundesliga holders, claimed the Freiburg ace had agreed to sign for Bayern with reports suggesting that a sum of 1.5 million Marks (£475,000) had been paid into Kehl's bank account for his services.

The 21-year-old, who maintains he is not decided on his future, is reported to have handed the money back to the munich club in favour of a move to arch rivals Borussia Dortmund where first team football would prove easier to find.

Bundesliga lawyer Christoph Schickhardt is set to reprsent Bayern in the affair and the fact that the European Champions are set for legal proceedings seems to point to Kehl heading for the Westfalen Stadium.
