PORTO SEAL McCARTHY DEAL
PORTO have completed the loan signing of Celta Vigo's unsettled South African international Benni McCarthy.
The 24-year-old striker has been in limbo as Celta for some time and now he has finally go this move away from the Spanish outfit.
The former Ajax man saw a similar deal to Premiership side Middlesbrough collapse earlier this year, but now he has joined Porto until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent switch.
McCarthy revealed that he wanted to help fire Porto to the Portuguese title.
"I will do everything for Porto, I really want to help them," said McCarthy.
"It only remains for the manager to give me the chances and show confidence in me, so that I can show what I can do.
"I will try and do what he wants from me, scoring goals."
