SUKUR SET FOR PARMA
PARMA have moved a step closer to signing up Internazionale's out-of-sorts striker Hakan Sukur.
Sukur, who has been actively seeking a move to The Premiership in recent months, appears to have settled on a move to struggling Serie A giants Parma instead.
Parma are currently casting nervous looks over their shoulder at the relegation places, and will be hoping that Sukur can show the ability he displays for his national side Turkey rather than in his two spells thus far in Italy.
The Turk will sign an 18-month contract that will leave him seeking another club in the summer of 2003, with Inter receiving around £2 million for a man that has languished well down their pecking-order of forwards.
