PSG end Ronaldinho saga

PARIS SAINT GERMAIN have finally ended the transfer saga over Ronaldinho's move from Gremio by agreeing a deal with the Brazilian side.

The 21-year-old arrived in Paris last April but the transfer saga has been dragging on for over 12 months.

The Brazilian side had demanded a massive transfer fee for their young star, while Paris had offered just £2.3 million as his contract with the Brazilian side had officially come to an end.

A special Fifa committee got involved in the argument, but their decision was rejected by both clubs, who continued to argue over the amount of the fee.

Gremio had threatened legal action over the matter, although they have now finally settled on a deal for the tricky Brazilian to seal his switch to the Parc des princes.

Victor Fernandez's side will pay Gremio around ‚é¼4.9 million (£2.9 million) for Ronaldinho, plus a sell-on clause that will net Gremio five percent of any future transfer fee PSG receive for him.
