Inter eye Dundee keeper

More from Football

INTERNAZIONALE are casting an envious eye over highly-rated Dundee goalkeeper Julian Speroni, according to reports.

The Italian giants are believed to have watched the 22-year-od shot-stopper on a number of occasions this season and had representatives watching him in action against St Johnstone last weekend.

The Argentine ace has only recently come into the Dundee side, but has impressed in his short time as keeper.

Speroni, who only joined the Dens Park outfit in the summer from Ateltico Platense, took over from Jamie Langfield between the posts in January and has kept four clean sheets in nine appearances.

Inter see him as perfect cover for first choice Francesco Toldo and a possible long-term replacement in the future.

Dundee boss Ivano Bonetti would like to keep the custodian, but would be unlikely to resist a big-money from Inter if they pursue their interest in Speroni
