Singh to make Ashton Gate loan move
The 20-year-old joined the Elland Road outfit as a trainee and he signed a contract in December that ties him to the West Yorkshire club till 2005.
Singh has yet to make a first-team debut for David O'Leary's side but has impressed with his consistency in the reserves.
He joined Division Two crisis club Bury on loan earlier in the season and scored against City in a 2-2 draw at Gigg Lane in November.
The regular first team football with The Shakers seemed to boost the Bradford-born midfielder's confidence.
Wilson is also been an admirer of Singh, telling the club's official website: "He (Singh) is coming down this evening (Thursday) for further talks, but basically things are agreed.
"Harpal played wide on the left that day (at Bury), but can also operate up front.
"He is very quick and has recently signed a new three-year contract with Leeds.
"I was very impressed when he played against us for Bury and clearly Leeds think a lot of him.
Singh is expected to go right into the line-up for Saturday's important home match against bottom-club Cambridge United as City look to solidify their position for the play-offs.
The inclusion of Singh could be soon followed by another new face as Wilson looks to strengthen his squad for the promotion push.
