Imps capture Bloomer on loan
The 23-year-old will join his new team-mates for Saturday's game against league leaders Plymouth Argyle but a clause in the player's contract will mean he can not face Hull City at Boothferry Park in the final match of the season.
Born in Grimsby, Bloomer started his professional career with his home-town club before transferring to City on a free transfer in the summer of 2001.
However, Bloomer has failed to nail down a place in the Tigers starting XI this term and after spending a lot of time in the reserve team, both Hull and the player decided a loan spell elsewhere would be the best for all concerned.
Lincoln are hovering just above the Division Three relegation zone and will hope the arrival of Bloomer can shore up a defence that has leaked 53 goals in 39 league games.
