Aldair unsure of destination
The 36-year-old Brazilian, who is out of contract this summer and attracting interest from Fulham and Sunderland, is eyeing a two-year contract before hanging up his boots.
"If I don't play know if I will play in Italy or somewhere else next season," said Aldair. "But I think I will not be playing in a Roma shirt."
One of the reasons behind Aldair's decision to quit the club is his much-publicised fall out with manager Fabio Capello.
"I don't want to talk about Capello at the moment, but I will talk about him for sure at the end of the season," concluded Aldair.
Giallorossi chairman Franco Sensi had offered the 12-year veteran of the club a new contract, but could not agree terms with the former Brazilian international.
Meanwhile, Sensi has pulled out of the race to sign Bayern Munich defender Samuel Kuffour, after failing to agree a fee for the Ghanaian international star.
