Scolari to change tactics?
Scolari played a 'first team' against a reserves XI and lined Edilson alongside Ronaldo in attack.
The Cruizeiro striker scored a goal in the game which finished as a 1-1 draw, with the squad's 'mascot' Kaka netting for the stiffs.
Ronaldo played most of the game before being replaced by Luizao and now seems certain to start against Turkey on Wednesday.
A change in system would be a surprise, after Brazil looked more solid defensively than they have all tournament against England in the quarter-final, but not unusual for Scolari who is renowned for his unpredictable team selections.
Ricardinho, Gilberto Silva and Kleberson - alongside the solitary creative presence of Rivaldo - in a midfield four would provide a reminder of the 1994 World Cup winning side which won the tournament, but was still criticised in some quarters in Brazil for the abandoning of the side's free-flowing game.
Scolari received similar criticism before the tournament when he suggested 'futebol arte' was dead, as the country expected him to play the same football he oversaw when guiding Palmeiras to two Copa Libertadores successes.
This has certainly not been the case in the tournament thus far, with Brazil scoring 15 goals in their five matches thus far, a tally matching the famed class of 1982.
However, facing potential game-winners in Yildiray Basturk, Hasan Sas and Belozoglu Emre in the Turkish midfield, Scolari may opt for a more defensive option, to secure them a final berth against Germany.
