Megson sends de Cler back to Ajax
WEST BROM have decided not to take on Ajax defender Tim de Cler after the Dutchman failed to impress in a trial spell at the Hawthorns.
Gary Megson ran the rule over the 23-year-old but on Wednesday The Baggies boss informed the player that he could return to Amsterdam.
De Cler has played over 70 games at Ajax but coach Ronald Koeman has made it clear he does not figure in his plans and the stopper is on the look-out for a new club.
Sean Gregan and Ronnie Wallwork have arrived at the Hawthorns in the summer as Megson looks to build on last season's promotion to The Premiership.
