Jess completes Forest switch
The 31-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract a month after personal terms had been agreed, with Jess having secured a compensation package from The Bantams.
Speaking about the transfer, Forest manager Paul Hart told the Forest official site: "Eoin is an excellent signing for us. He's the right type of player for us, the right type of person and he offers us many, many options.
"But the bottom line is the fact he's a very good footballer.
"He is a good professional. He has been around and knows international football, as well as the Premier League and First Division scene, and I've been a long time admirer of him.
"Opportunities to sign players of his calibre on free transfers don't come along too often and I'm delighted that we've finally managed to get it completed.
"Eoin can play off a centre forward or he can play behind a centre forward or he can play in midfield, so there's no shortage of options for us to consider."
Jess added: "It's been a long running saga - I'm just delighted that everything has been sorted out and that I'm now a Forest player.
"I've been brought up to play football the right way and I'm really looking forward to being a part of what Paul is trying to achieve.
"I'm just delighted to get the chance to move to Forest and have the opportunity to play football again.
"It's been difficult for all the players at Bradford. We just had to act professionally and get on with it. There really was nothing we could do about it - it was out of our hands."
