Moratti not looking for war with Ronaldo
The Brazilian claimed he left the club because of his relationship with coach Hector Cuper and also hit out at Moratti for backing the Argentine over him.
Moratti is not looking to get involved in a slanging match and admitted he is getting bored with the whole situation with Ronaldo.
"When I read the interview I reacted well because in all the newspapers it was accompanied by a picture of Hernan Crespo celebrating his goal last night," said Moratti.
"Ronaldo simply said things that we are already aware of and I have no desire to add to this argument because for me it has turned stale.
"I was not offended by what he said about me. The only thing that saddened me was that he continued to criticise Cuper.
"I honestly do not believe that there was a problem with the Coach. Anyhow Ronaldo has complained of difficulties with other bosses in the past too."
Moratti would like to put the whole bitterness over Ronaldo's move to Real Madrid behind and he admitted he would like to meet up with him again.
"I would love to meet Ronaldo on the pitch in the future, in a sporting sense of course.
"I would like him to recognise that his time here was a good experience, for himself and the club."
