Bellion reveals exit plans
The young Frenchman has performed well when called upon by Black Cats boss Howard Wilkinson, but has handed the boss a blow by saying he wants to leave.
The 20-year-old rejected offers of a new contract from The Wearsiders, and has said that he wants to leave.
"I admitted to the coach Wilkinson that if I get the chance to leave, I will seize it," said Bellion.
The former Cannes man's contract expires at the end of the season, although the club would receive a fee for him as he is under 24.
Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson is a keen admirer of Bellion and he, along with French giants PSG, are thought to be keeping tabs on him.
Bellion has been likened to Thierry Henry but he says he has a long way to go to get anywhere near his countryman.
"It is encouraging," Bellion said of being compared to Henry.
"But Thierry has already showed his qualities, I still have to prove everything.
"I am far away from his level. Henry is a phenomenon that I put him close to Ronaldo and van Nistelrooy."
