Owls eye Bradbury return

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY boss Chris Turner is hoping to bring Portsmouth striker Lee Bradbury back to Hillsborough on loan, as he also agrees loan extensions with Ryan Green and Michael Reddy.

Bradbury had moved to South Yorkshire on a two-month loan spell but had to leave in January due to a shoulder injury.

The Pompey hit-man is now back to full fitness and Turner is hoping to bring him back to the struggling Owls.

"Chris has confirmed he wants to bring Lee back on loan, hopefully before Saturday's game against Preston," said a Wednesday spokesman.

"It would initially be for a month, but with a view to keeping him on longer."

Meanwhile, defender Green and Sunderland striker Reddy have both extended their stays with the club.

Green has penned a new deal until the end of the season while Reddy has agreed on a further month's loan.

The 22-year-old is looking to prove himself at Division One level and hopes he can improve his displays for Wednesday as they bid to survive relegation.

"It's good to be getting first team games - that's the main thing," Reddy told the club's website.

"We're undefeated now in three games, which is good, but it would be nice to get a win."
