Morgan joins Harriers

KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS have taken defender Wes Morgan on a month's loan from Division One high-flyers Nottingham Forest.

The 19-year-old completed his move on Wednesday evening and will be available for this Saturday's match against Scunthorpe United at Aggborough.

The former Notts County trainee has been able to break into Forest's reserve squad this season and is knocking on the door for a first team place with manager Paul Hart's squad.

Harriers boss Ian Britton has been keen to bring in new faces to the club, having just released a number of players to make space in his squad.

He told the club's official website of his delight in snapping up the highly-rated youngster.

"I've had a good reports about this lad. He's big, strong and he's going to be a very good player," said Britton.

"They [Nottingham Forest] think very highly of him, so much so they are looking for him to be pushing into the first team by the end of this season.

"His arrival will keep the other players on their toes. He will provide a lot of competition."
