Ronaldo seeking divorce

Journal do Brasil claim the Real Madrid ace and his spouse are trying to find lawyers to deal with the split amicably.

Rumours first started of a rift between the two in 2001 when articles surfaced of Ronaldo having a secret affair with a mystery woman.

The pair married in Rio De Janeiro in 1999 in one of the most high-profile security events the country had seen as the couple wished to make the ceremony a private affair.

Unfortunately, the former Internazionale forward's wishes were quashed when they were besieged by an army of reporters and photographers throughout.
