Rothen secures February award
MONACO'S Jerome Rothen has been voted the best player in Le Championnat during the month of February by a panel of journalists.
The playmaker secured 71 points for the month, whilst fellow colleague Dada Prso was named second best player with 47 points.
The Principality side won three out of four contests during the month and scored eight goals, whilst conceding just the two.
Rothen, 24, becomes the first player this season to have secured the award for a second time.
Third place was shared between Lens' Antoine Sibierski and Bordeaux's Pauleta, who both received 27 points each.
