Kezman in international U-turn
The 24-year-old quit his national side back in February, after falling out with coach Dejan Savicevic, following his country's 2-2 draw with Azerbaijan in a Euro 2004 qualifying match.
But Savicevic has now resigned from his position, opening the door for the prolific hit-man to continue his international career.
Kezman told Politika: "I want to come back to the national team.
"I never said 'goodbye', I just didn't want to play while Savicevic was in charge.
"Simply, our relationship was unsatisfactory and I got the message that he didn't need me."
Kezman was crowned Player of the Year in Holland last season, scoring 35 goals in 32 appearances.
He had been linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona, but, like the David Beckham 'deal' relying on Joan Laporta wining the race for the presidency, his move was subject to Jordi Majo becoming president of the club.
With Laporta's victory in Sunday's ballot, it seems unlikely that the player will now be heading to the Catalan club.
