The former Brazilian national team coach, who led his country to World Cup glory last summer, is well aware of the midfielder's ability from his time in charge of the Samba boys.
Scolari insists that the 24-year-old was one of the key members of his triumphant Brazilian outfit, and believes the Atletico Paranaense star would have few problems adjusting to life in England.
"He was always the first name on the team list, ahead of players like Ronaldo," said Scolari.
"He will have no problem adapting to The Premiership."
Kleberson, who flew in for a medical with United last Thursday, should complete his switch to the Premiership champions next week, and will become Sir Alex Ferguson's second midfield signing of the close season, following Cameroon international Eric Djemba-Djemba into Old Trafford.
