Riza's Turkish delight
The 23-year-old rejected the offer of a one-year contract extension to remain at the Abbey Stadium and has instead put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal, with an option for a third year, with his new club.
The former Arsenal and West Ham player scored 17 goals for The U's last season and joins a Denizlispor side that finished 10th in the Turkish Super Lig last term and had a run in the Uefa Cup, as they reached the fourth round of the competition.
The player's father and agent Josh Riza is delighted his son will get a chance to play top-flight football in one of Europe's up-and-coming leagues.
"He is looking forward to it," said Josh Riza.
"What he needs to do is play football and, having not reached the highest level in this country (England), he has looked elsewhere."
Meanwhile, U's boss John Taylor has been looking at more fresh faces for his squad, with former Norwich City trainee Lee Summerscales and former Tottenham Hotspur youth Daniel Perry being given a chance to impress the manager.
Former West Ham trainee Louis Riddle has also earned a trial to impress at the Abbey Stadium.
