Milito - I have nothing to prove to Madrid

GABRIEL MILITO insists he has no grudges with Real Madrid over his collapsed move to El Santiago Bernabeu.

The highly-rated Argentine defender is determined to put the collapsed transfer behind him and prove his worth at new club Real Zaragoza.

Madrid backed out of signing the 22-year-old after citing worries over an old knee injury, but Milito insists he is fully fit.

"I don't have to prove anything to Real Madrid, that's all part of the past and I have no desire for revenge," said Milito.

"I am thinking about the present and the wonderful chance I have been given by Zaragoza.

"I am very happy to have been given the chance to come here and grateful to the club for giving me the possibility to play in Spain."
