Walters joins Crewe
BOLTON WANDERERS starlet Jonathan Walters has joined First Division outfit Crewe Alexandra on a one-month loan deal.
The striker was recently called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-21's and netted an impressive five goals in nine games while on loan at Hull City last season.
The former Blackburn Rovers man will link up with Dario Gradi's men on Friday as they begin their quest to once again establish themselves in the First Division after promotion last season.
Walters could even be in line to play some part for The Railwaymen in their opening game of the season against Wimbledon at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
