Jardel completes Bolton move

MARIO JARDEL has completed his move to Bolton Wanderers, after passing a medical on Friday.

The Brazilian striker has agreed a two-year deal and been handed the number 13 shirt.

Jardel is one of the most prolific strikers in European football, and the signing of the player represents a major coup for manager Sam Allardyce.

Blessed with phenomenal talent in front of goal, Jardel also seems capable of creating trouble at every club he plays for.

The Samba star engineered his exit from Sporting Lisbon after an equally acrimonious spell in Turkey with Galatasaray, and can often be a disruptive force.

However, if Allardyce can keep the player focused on the pitch and happy off of it, Bolton have a player perfectly capable of setting the Premiership alight in the coming season.

Jardel seems unlikely to feature in Bolton's Premiership opener against Manchester United at Old Trafford, but will be hoping to make a major splash in England.
