PSG land Sorin
The former Lazio star shunned an offer from Portsmouth, deciding instead to sign a season-long loan deal at Parc des Princes.
Sorin spent last season with Barcelona, but they decided not to keep him and so he returned to Brazilian club Cruzeiro - who got the player back after Lazio failed to pay for him.
PSG have been looking for a left sided defensive player for most of the summer.
They lost out to Internazionale for Lyon's Jeremie Brechet and baulked at Boudewijn Zenden's wage demands and he went on to join Middlesbrough.
The Parisian club had already filled the void left by Ronaldinho and then Hakan Yakin, by signing Serbian star Branko Boskovic and now they have completed their transfer movement with the arrival of Sorin.
Meanwhile, Jerome Leroy looks set to leave the club.
The attack-minded midfielder is keen to find a new club and reports are suggesting that he is about to sign for Guingamp.
